Professional Program in Nursing at UW-Green Bay

The Professional Program in Nursing at UW-Green Bay specializes in online nursing education. We offer an RN to BSN education and an MSN in Leadership and Management in Health Systems. We recognize that completion of an advanced degree in nursing can open doors to new professional opportunities and creates personal satisfaction for nurses. Employers want nurses prepared at the highest levels possible so that they are equipped to deal with the complexities of healthcare in the 21st century.

The UW name is recognized nationally for excellence in education. UW-Green Bay offers high quality, user-friendly programs with flexible transfer policies and excellent student support. Our faculty are knowledgeable in their areas of expertise and experienced in teaching adult learners.

The BSN curriculum prepares nurse leaders, critical thinkers, effective communicators, managers, advocates, teachers, change agents, and providers of care who use autonomous nursing interventions as well as culturally congruent and ethically sound nursing care. As a leader in RN to BSN education, we offer three tracks to allow access to any RN currently licensed by any state in the United States. “BSN-LINC” has been designed for students living outside of Wisconsin looking to complete their BSN degree online. “BSN@Home” is the online track for Wisconsin students. Our “Campus Track” is for students living within driving distance of Green Bay wishing to attend “face to face” classes on our campus.

Our “MSN-LINC” program is online and available to BSN prepared RNs licensed by any state in the United States.  The MSN curriculum provides advanced coursework in leadership and management to improve care at multiple levels across the continuum of healthcare settings.  Core content includes leadership, fiscal management, evaluative methods, information systems, healthcare policy, communication and organizational behavior.
