Nursing Department

We are proud of our 30+ year tradition of preparing strong professional nurse leaders for contemporary nursing practice within a Catholic/Benedictine liberal arts setting. Faculty are deeply committed to excellence in student learning, teaching, service, and scholarship.

CSB/SJU offers a four-year bachelor of science degree with a major in nursing. The program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE, 2007) and approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing (2009).

In accordance with its accreditation standards and procedures, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education has accredited the Baccalaureate Degree Program in Nursing at College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education is listed by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
