Congratulations to the following UT Austin School of Nursing alumnae!

Gwen Sherwood, PhD ('88), RN, FAAN, was appointed to the National Medical Safety Board (NMSB) to help launch a national board similar to the National Transportation Safety Board.

Mary Umlauf, PhD ('88), RN, FAAN, was selected as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar to teach and conduct research at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiba University in Japan.
