Here's a question for you to consider and discuss in preparation for the accreditation site visit:
Where can you find information about the faculty for your courses? How do you know that your faculty are qualified to teach the content of your courses?
There has been only minimal discussion in the previous accreditation-preparation questions. Some are in the general lounge, and some are in the student lounge. The time is approaching (see the countdown clock), so please go back into previously posted questions and communicate with each other on these topics.

In each course I have taken, faculty have placed a short bio in the syllabus or at the beginning of the course. I think it is a great idea as it puts a face to a name when they include a picture, and makes things a little more personal. I enjoy reading what hobbies each person has, where they went to school, etc.
I do enjoy reading the bio's as well. Not only on the syllabus can you find info, it is also on the AMU website.
You can find the information when you go to the registration section for your courses, at the bottom of this page each instructor teaching the course has a link with their bio and qualifications.
I agree that putting a face to the name is a great idea. Faculty profiles are also found when registering for a class, by clicking on the faculty's name one can read about thier bio.
