Eye rolling, gossiping, ignoring, chronic understaffing and intimidation are all forms of Lateral Violence.  Lateral Violence is a major problem among nurses, which effects job turnover, job satisfaction, productivity, patient satisfaction, patient safety and lost time.  This presentation will educate, demonstrate and discuss ongoing implementation plans in a large hospital while revealing potential benefits.

Behavioral Objectives: 

1. Recognize the various forms of Lateral Violence in the workplace.
2. Compose pre and post surveys with the implementation of an educational roll out plan to decrease Lateral Violence in the workplace.
3. Formulate a plan using measurable interventions to decrease Lateral Violence in the workplace.
