Children’s Medical Center, in partnership with Dallas County ENA, is offering a 2 day course for nurses preparing to take the CPEN™ Certification Exam. The course offers an intensive review of material relevant to the CPEN™ Exam and is also valuable to any nurse wanting to increase his/her own assessment skills and knowledge of pediatric emergency medicine.
All faculty for this education event are experts in the field of pediatric emergency nursing and pediatric emergency medicine. Additionally, they bring first hand knowledge of what is required to pass a national certification exam. Each lecture has been prepared with the objective of guiding participants through content relevant to successfully pursing pediatric emergency nursing certification, while providing information that enhances a nurse’s ability to recognize and care for the pediatric patient in need of emergent medical attention.
